City Magazine - City Travel over Brasserie Goeie Louisa: “The latter was housed in a wonderful former monestry kitchen at the five-star Hotel Karel V. With an open kitchen at the front of the dining room, it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere with food to match. The hotel is another of Utrecht’s many historic buildings, dating from the 14th century it was also a miltary hospital and remained that way until 1986 where it remained empty for ten years before opening as a hotel in 1999.”
