In the role of Events employee, you are the first point of contact for guests who want to make a reservation in one of our 13 unique rooms, possibly combined with overnight stays and/or dinner in Restaurant Karel 5 or Brasserie Goeie Louisa. Together with your colleagues of the Events reservations team, you strive for an optimal occupancy of the rooms and act as a link between the guest and your colleagues in the other departments. The careful transmission of information to the various departments within the company is of exceptional importance, as it contributes to successful cooperation and an unforgettable experience for our guests. They don’t have to think about anything anymore because of your careful preparations.

The job


We are looking for a colleague with a strong sense of responsibility and a welcoming attitude. You enjoy working independently, have a proactive attitude and are precise.

Someone who is able to listen carefully to the wishes and needs of the guest and make an appropriate proposal.
Someone who works in a structured and accurate manner with an eye for detail.
You are strong communicator, both oral and written in Dutch and English
You have knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge of Thynk / Opera Cloud is a plus
You have a positive attitude and goal-oriented approach
You are independent and work well individually, but are also part of a close-knit team.
You have a relevant education at MBO/HBO level or work experience in the hospitality sector


The ability to multitask effectively and handle hectic situations well is essential for this position. This department is characterized by constant activity and lively dynamics.

You will process requests in the system and create and send appropriate quotes. You then modify the proposals after feedback from the guest.
You take stock of the requirements and maintain contact regarding the passage, filling and changes of reservations.
You do relationship management by receiving contacts and are responsible for after-sales. Furthermore, you provide tours for potential clients by appointment or interested guests who walk in.
You are the link between the operation and the guest. You ensure that all details are taken care of to perfection in the run-up to the event and relieve the guest in organizing their event.
You think in possibilities, tackle problems with creative solutions and handle any complaints.
