The refund amount depends on the time of cancellation and the type of rate you have booked.
You can cancel free of charge on the day of arrival before 18:00. If you cancel your room reservation after 18:00 on the day of arrival, you will be charged the rate of the first night’s stay.

All well-known world credit cards are accepted. In the hotel you can also pay with cash, debit card or with giftcard from a Grand Hotel Karel V.
A person who is not a guest and wishes to pay for a guest at the hotel is requested to fill out a Credit Card Authorization form. The information can be filled out in this form and we will then gladly process it in the reservation. The form can be requested by contacting us.
The city tax is 6% per room per night. This percentage is charged at check-out. For guests who live in Utrecht, the tourist tax is not included.
Yes, guests can bring their dogs to the hotel. Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room or Restaurant, but they are allowed in the Bistro. The costs are €20 per dog per day. We also provide dog supplies (dog pillow, food and drink bowl) for in the room.
