GRAAF VAN EGMOND ROOM

With monumental elegance

The Graaf van Egmond room is a pleasant, bright meeting room in our ”Boerderij” and is named after Lamoral van Egmond. He was a general and statesman in the Seventeen Provinces at the beginning of the Eighty Years’ War. Emperor Charles V divided the Habsburg Netherlands into seventeen regions, also called the Seventeen Provinces. Since 1544 the Count had been a Knight of the Golden Fleece.
