Set within the unique atmosphere of our historic monastery, every course is carefully prepared to surprise and delight.

THE TASTE OF CHRISTMAS
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Restaurant Karel 5 welcomes you to an exclusive six-course Christmas dinner, specially created for the festive season. Inspired by the finest seasonal ingredients and the signature style of Restaurant Karel 5, every course is carefully prepared to offer an evening of refined cuisine and memorable flavours. Christmas has a unique way of creating memories that last for years. Not only because of the people gathered around the table, but also through the flavours, aromas, and moments you share together. A single dish can take you back to a special evening, a heartfelt conversation, or a cherished smile. That is why we believe a Christmas dinner is more than just a menu—it's an experience you'll remember long after the holidays. Choose from either our classic or vegetarian menu. The Christmas dinner is available from €190 per person, excluding beverages, or €325 per person including all beverages.
* The full Christmas menu will be announced in September. Until then, we prefer to keep the menu a culinary surprise. To ensure the best possible experience, we kindly ask you to inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies when making your reservation.

WINE EXPERIENCE
An exceptional dish deserves a wine that brings out its very best. That is why our sommelier carefully selects a wine for every course, enhancing the flavours and creating perfect harmony. The wine pairing is available from €105 per person. Prefer a non-alcoholic alternative? Our carefully curated alcohol-free pairing has been designed to complement the menu just as perfectly.

After an evening of refined dining, retreat to the comfort of one of our elegant rooms or suites. The following morning, start your day with an extensive breakfast buffet and enjoy access to our wellness facilities. Complimentary parking is, of course, included throughout your stay.

- Can you accommodate allergies or dietary requirements?
If you have any allergies, dietary requirements, or special requests, please let us know in advance. We will do our utmost to accommodate your needs. Unfortunately, if we are not informed in time, we may not be able to make adjustments on the evening itself.
- Is a vegetarian or vegan Christmas menu available?
Yes, alongside our classic Christmas menu, we also offer a fully vegetarian Christmas menu, ensuring every guest can enjoy a complete festive dining experience. Unfortunately, a fully vegan Christmas menu is not available at Restaurant Karel 5. During the festive season, Brasserie Goeie Louisa does offer a vegan menu.
If you have a vegetarian or vegan preference, or any other dietary requirements, please let us know well in advance so our kitchen can prepare accordingly. Unfortunately, if we are not informed in time, we may not be able to accommodate these requests on the evening itself.

- Is parking available at Grand Hotel Karel V?
Yes, Grand Hotel Karel V offers a spacious private car park directly next to the hotel. Please note that it is not possible to reserve a parking space in advance. Should our car park be full upon arrival, there is a covered public parking garage just a two-minute walk from the hotel.
