The Mary of Hungary Room has a classy feel with its marble floor, original beamed ceiling, chandeliers and special mantel. Mary of Hungary was governess of the Netherlands and sister of Charles V. She resided with him in the German House in 1545 and 1546. Originally the room was called Kapittelzaal. Nice detail: a beam in the room was deliberately left unpainted. Thus one can see that we have renovated the room in our own style. The spacious room offers many possibilities for meetings and private dinners.
